I was extremely happy with the bus and level of comfort. One of the employees however, was not so friendly and very pushy. Of course we made the inevitable stop for food in the middle of nowhere with only one choice of food. The pushy man continuously and very rudely tried to force me to eat after I had declined with a smile and a shake of the wrist. He then continued and another man from the restaurant joined in on his harassment. I finally got out my translator and told them I was vegetarian. They then looked puzzled, went over to the lady cooking, and offered me white rice with soy sauce. Again, I declined. They finally left me alone. Also, during the night while trying to sleep the bus driver was driving so fast that I was literally being thrown around my seat, front to back and side to side. We ended up arriving an hour early at 5am. The drop off point was a 20 minute drive from central Hanoi and of course I was surrounded by a group of 5 taxi drivers that were standing there waiting for the bus but I was the only person who exited the bus that was being surrounded. I asked them to stand back and give me some room. I then asked how much to my hotel, one said 130k. I checked Grab it was 116k and I ordered Grab. They were very unhappy about it. None of this is a surprise it happens all over SE Asia but this was a limousine bus and I thought maybe it would’ve had a little bit better service.
